SOLI Chamber Ensemble’s 20th anniversary season marches on with “Present.” A mix of old and new that celebrates SOLI’s “national recognition and presence in the contemporary music world,” the program features Grammy-winner Libby Larsen’s sweeping Rodeo Queen of Heaven and British composer Thomas Adés’ jovial Catch along with world premiers by Pennsylvania-born Rome Prize winner Aaron J. Kernis, Houston-based Musiqa co-founder Anthony Brandt and the Alamo City’s own George Cisneros. Whether you get your chamber on Monday at Gallery Nord (currently showcasing artists Beth Devillier and Blue Mitchell) or Tuesday at Trinity, both concerts include pre-show talks (7 p.m.) and post-show receptions. $10-$25, 7:30pm Mon, Gallery Nord, 2009 NW Military Hwy; 7:30pm Tue, Ruth Taylor Recital Hall, Trinity University, One Trinity; solichamberensemble.com. —Bryan Rindfuss
