Hungry San Antonians will have another place to check out mobile eats this September. Chris McKnight will open Mission #6 during September’s First Friday; trucks will be curated by Ana Fernandez of The Institute of Chili.

Trucks currently lined up for the debut of the lot include Sabores, The Fridge, Chocollazo and Slider Provider (Read our review of SP here.); the lot is in front of Family Dollar at 1022 S. St. Mary’s St. Most of the trucks have visited Southtown 101 in the last few months.

For her part, Fernandez will join the First Friday debut with her trailer which she’s dubbing, “BBQ of the Americas.” The park will have a grand opening that night and then focus on Friday and Saturday nights. They hope to eventually roll out lunch hours and give SouthTown another lunchtime alternative.

You don’t have to be so rude if this is not your thing then go to a place where they do have restrooms, tables and music no reason to be and ass about it
